Sciwheel (former F-1000 workspce) is a Citation Management Software.
Free access is available to all Hebrew University users, but must log in through personal account creation. Please use HUJI mail address.
As with other softwares, sciwheel works with both the web browser (to export out of sight) and MS WORD.
After installing the Sciwheel, all browsers installed on the computer will have the icon:
The Word Cite Manager must be installed individually, using Word plugin & Desktop application. When installing, the MS WORD should be closed.
Register and install the Sciwheel on your computer's browsers.
Install the Word plugin & desktop application.
Creating a project: Each project starts as private, but later it can be shared via share / privet (with the moderator / colleagues, etc.). To share a project, type in a partner email.
Get started with a project: Import reference:
You can import documents from: drop box / google drive / pdf / one drive
You can also import from Mandalay, Endnote or Zotero. The files go through, including the directory structure.
You can add articles from google scholar search by using the icon.
Or add from the article itself using the cite icon.
Incorporating quotes into the WORD document: Instead of the text where you want to add a placeholder, click the Sciwheel icon and the placeholder will be added to the project of your choice.
Creating a bibliographic list at the end of the document: By clicking Create bibliography.
Selecting a Quote Style: By clicking Style.
Anywhere in the software where the chat icon is in a circle, you can start a chat with the support team.

The library you created here will always be yours. Even if you finished studying at the Hebrew University. You can also continue to add references to a project you have been working on.
The only limitation: you cannot open new projects when you are not a student anymore.
