The Education and Social Work Library
The Education Library started out in the Terra Sancta building in West Jerusalem. In 1958, it moved to the Hebrew University campus in Givat Ram. In 1975, after the university rebuilt the Mount Scopus campus, it moved to the School of Education there.
Originally, the Education, Social Work, and Jewish Education Libraries were separate libraries in the same building. Since 2003, the three libraries have been united under the Library Authority.
The library collections are mostly in education, including Jewish education and social work, but they also relate to psychology, psychotherapy, art therapy, sociology, etc.
The library has set a goal of constantly renewing itself and its collections. Our staff is attentive to student needs and requirements, making student satisfaction a major goal. We try to serve students in the best manner possible.
