The number of articles allowed by the agreement is limited. The approval process goes through the Harman Science Library.
Please note: Open Access funding is limited to articles published in Q1 rated journals in JCR, with a maximum of 2 articles per primary author (PI) per calendar year.

More information
As of 2025 HUJI affiliated authors can publish open access articles at Elsevier:
- Free of charge in hybrid Freedom Collection journals and selected HUJI subscriptions in medicine, up to the HUJI quota.
Beyond this quota, there will be a 15% discount of the APC.
- 10% discount in Gold journals.
Cell and Lancet titles are not included in the agreement.

As part of an agreement with the publisher SAGE, HUJI researchers can publish open access articles at a discounted rate of 200 GBP.
To qualify for the discount the authors must publish their article in one of the journals included in the "SAGE Premier Package" and offer hybrid open access publication.
SAGE will contact qualifying authors to inform them of the possible discount.
