Criminology & Public Policy
Criminology & Public Policy is interdisciplinary in nature, devoted to policy discussions of criminology research findings. Focusing on the study of criminal justice policy and practice, the central objective of Criminology & Public Policy is to strengthen the role of research findings in the formulation of crime and justice policy by publishing empirically based, policy focused articles.

The Journal of Criminology, Criminal Justice, Law & Society (CCJLS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that promotes understanding of the causes of crime; the methods used to prevent and control crime; the institutions, principles, and actors involved in the apprehension, prosecution, punishment, and reintegration of offenders; and the legal and political framework under which the justice system and its primary actors operate.
CCJLS publishes
theoretical and empirical research on criminology, criminal justice, and criminal law and society;
practice-oriented papers (including teaching/pedagogical issues);
essays and commentary on crime, law, and justice policy;
replies and comments to articles previously published in CCJLS or WCR;
book and film reviews; and
scholarly article reviews.
Historical and contemporary perspectives are encouraged, as are diverse theoretical and methodological approaches.

Criminology & Criminal Justice is a leading, peer reviewed journal of original research and thinking in the field. The journal seeks to reflect the vibrancy of the disciplines of criminology and criminal justice throughout the UK and internationally. It publishes work of the highest quality and academic rigour from around the world and across all areas of criminology and criminal justice. It is interdisciplinary in nature, and is devoted to providing an international forum for critical debate and policy discussions of criminological and criminal justice research findings. As the official journal of the British Society of Criminology, Criminology & Criminal Justice encourages the submission of articles that are of interest to an international and/or British readership. Some of the key types of articles which form the focus of the journal will include:
original conceptual articles on crime, its prevention and control
empirical studies, including those of criminological research findings, criminal justice policy-making and the implementation of laws, processes and criminal justice
analyses of international crimes and criminal justice institutions and policy transfer, as well as evaluations of significant developments in criminal justice practices
debates about the public role of criminology and criminologists.
Current Issues in Criminal Justice
Current Issues in Criminal Justice is produced by the Institute of Criminology Press and is the major Australian journal on criminal justice. Contributors include academics, researchers and professionals, who provide expert analysis of the many aspects of criminal justice. The Journal covers national and international issues, and has subscribers from many different countries and disciplines.
European journal of criminology (Online)
The European Journal of Criminology is a refereed journal published by SAGE publications and the European Society of Criminology. It provides a forum for research and scholarship on crime and criminal justice institutions. The journal published high quality articles using varied approaches, including discussion of theory, analysis of quantitative data, comparative studies, systematic evaluation of interventions, and study of institutions of political process.
